But doing taxes in the buff is no nightmare. As a matter of fact, you might just consider it one great act of defiance. Ha Ha! I wonder how many agents would be so willing to ponder over my return seeking errors and omissions if s/he knew the paperwork was done by someone in the buff. In order to bring attention to the fact that it was done in that state, I would need a big 4X6 sticky note (bright pink) to paste on the front page "WARNING: This return was created in the NUDE!!!"
Two reasons to not bother: 1) it would just kick off an audit; and 2) I e-file when I don't file for an extension; oh, and 3) they'd probably put me on some FIB (intentional) list of preverts (again).
Still, doing taxes in the buff would be is no nightmare.

Buff or not, to me taxes are still a nightmare.
Last night I had some weird dreams. One I was in an industrial area working. Part of the time I was totally nude and part of the time I was wearing a sweatshirt, socks and shoes but nothing else. People noticed but shrugged it off. In another dream my wife had taken up smoking. If you knew my wife, you would know that would never happen, unless she had some radically brain altering accident or something. It probably has about as much chance of happening as me showing up to work naked and getting away with it. |

Joserab... I would only say that to be most effective, your sickly sticky note would need to include the following words:
"Also please forgive the fact that all the pages are sticking together. Note, too, that this sticky note is NOT a store bought 3M sticky note, but I made it myself!!"

You're a funny lady, RWB. As screwy as this world is, a good sense of humor is required - especially for laughing at oneself. You have the requisite ability. When I check out (not for another 20 or 30 or 40 years) I'll know there are those to carry on. Thank the Good Lord!

| Mrs. Argonaut had a nude dream last night. She was at some kind of a retreat and was involved in an acting class type of situation. The group was on the stage and the instructor came in a said everybody had to be naked. She was delighted to take her clothes off and was nude in a matter of seconds. The others in the class were shocked and were reluctant to comply. Then I came in and was jealous that I wasn't in the class. It was the first nude dream that she remembers. |

Don't usually remember my dreams, and can't ever remember having a naked one until this thread was posted. Since then I've had four. One: Freshening up in a cool-water landscape pool in a parking lot before some kind of international conference or meeting. Two: Swimming in a tiled indoor pool with unusual properties, namely that I could hold my breath for as long as I wanted in it, and that I could use it to 'fly over' and savor a vast and beautiful desert landscape that somehow formed its bottom. I've never had a flying dream, but I guess sky-swimming is pretty close. Three: A pond somewhere in the woods, where it became important that I wash all my clothes immediately. Four: In a room somewhere. It contains all of my clothes, but I am paralyzed deciding what to wear, and my mom is on her way in, so I hide, where else, in the closet. Because that's not symbolic of being a Mormon skinny-dipper at all.
So congratulations forum, you've found the direct line into my brain. Now it's only a matter of time before I start telling people that nothing is certain in life except death and Texas. |

I have to admit that I have not had one in quite some time but this one made up for it.
As far as I could tell I was at some family reunion of my mothers side and at my uncles house or place of work but not his real ones. I do not know why, but who really needs a reason, but over the course of the day everyone removed their clothing so by the end of the day we were all naked. I am sure it started with the kids, even my second and third cousins were there and I do have never met them in person.
The thing about the house/office thing where it all took place was that it was huge, went on like forever and had countless rooms and a ton of bathrooms and each bathroom was like a change room at a pool or something with like 8 tubs and showers posts, tree of life style. I recall this most of all because near the end of the dream I was sent to get my oldest niece and some time before that she had said she was going to the washroom. So I was running from washroom to washroom looking for her. When I found her she was taking a bath and I had to figure out how to turn the automated bath off but was getting squirted from every direction with every wrong switch I hit. And it was not with warm water either.
At the reunion I know we had dinner, played many different games (cards, tether ball, rummy, Wii) and took in a movie all without leaving the building and all in the nude. I had a great time, it was the best dream I have had in a long time, until the squirting thing, and it all seemed so real and logical. There was also this thing about going to see one of my brothers new bands he was managing at his place across town but the band was horrible, music was nice but the singing was horrific, the lyrics made no sense and the guys playing all looked stupid in their costumes. My brother, who managed them, said he know they look like freaks but they refused to change their style. I also have no idea how we got there or back and I don't recall any of the adults being there other than that brother and myself and all the kids, but my brother and the band were dressed at the time.
Also I am sure I had an ichy butt the entire dream that would just not stop iching. I just remembered that now while trying to remember more; however that is all I can get. I had the dream last Wednesday night but have not been able to post anything as our computer went into the shop because of some stupid fake alert virus that wants you to buy a virus protection program to remove it. Like I am going to buy a program advertised by a virus. |
