Maybe it's just me. But I remember back in the nineties and the early twenties, as a teenager, I was attracted to nudism because it was anti-pornography, and was about being chaste. Sexual activity had no place in nudism. It was merely about body acceptance. Many nudists also boasted that it was the cure for pornography, and that those raised in nudist families were less likely to have pre-marital sex. There were a few bad nudist groups back then, but not a lot.

But it seems like now bad nudist groups, undesirable ones, have grown. It seems as if Satan is working extra hard to twist an activity that is wholesome and beautiful into something obscene. This is depressing to me. How can the naturist lifestyle hope to gain converts and acceptance when filth penetrates it? Perhaps I am overreacting. But this is a concern for me.

I don't think you're overreacting at all. I avoid most of the online nudist community for that reason, it's really a sad situation. Nudity does equal sex, simply because most people want it to.
