I saw the the two girl were only wearing life jackets and underwear. At first I assumed they has swim suits on complete with tops but upon closer inspection and the removal of the jackets, that was not the case. There was also a French lady there in a string bikini...
Wonder if the kids were French as well. If so, I'm surprised they had on anything but the life jacket. |

I've wondered about that myself, and there have been a few times when I have tried to go nude for 24 hours straight. I don't think I have ever succeeded, ...
Three words: nude raft trip. I've spent nearly five days nude on one.
One word: sunscreen. I spent a few days nude boating at Lake Mead, the sunburned bits don't really hurt until you put clothes on again. |

Yesterday we went rafting again and for the most part is was quite relaxing and a pleasant experience. We saw some people cliff diving and a lot of out people started chanting "Jump, Jump, Jump" and one person yelled, "You have nothing worth living for so jump and get it over with." I do not think it was one of our people who said that but who ever it was sure has a kind of a morbid sense of humor. It was all in fun and jokes but still... that is a pretty strange thing to yell at some one you don't even know.
However the real reason I am writing this is to talk about what we talked about after the trip down the river was done. I was at a table waiting for the food to be ready, I was an LDS activity so there has to be food afterward. Several of the Brotheren were not wearing shirt and one Sister commented that it is not fair that guys can go shirtless but women can't. Then another Sister said "It is not that we can't, it just is that we don't. You could go around bare breasted if you wanted, the question is do you really want to right now?" To which the first Sister said "Yeah, I would love to get an even tan like those guys have but not with all these guys here I won't." That led into a discussion about the best places to tan topless at home and if you can get away with it or without anyone noticing. The Sister that started the tanning topic went through all the place she thought she could go at home but her room mate shot her down on each one pointing out the flaws or who would see her. One Sister said "Remind me to never go over to your house in the mornings." and I was wondering why? Are you scared of seeing her topless, of seeing a bare breasts? What, have you never looked down while showering or looked around in a change room. Girl, you got them too so what are you shared of?
I found it interesting that nearly all the Sisters involved in the conversation would tan topless if they could; not something many people in or out of the Church would expect I would think. One Sister even said she use to tan topless at home a lot then a friend of hers said, "Don't you have like three brothers?" to which she answered "No, I only have two and they never said anything to me about it, in fact they avoided me when I was tanning." Me, I was thinking, is that a good thing or a bad thing that your brothers avoided you? On one hand it might mean they were not obsessed with seeing naked boob like a whole lot of boys would and are I am sure; on the other the fact that they avoided seeing her half naked might mean they were repulsed by the sight nakedness. This got me thinking about how a lot of boys I have talked to are repulsed by the sight of their sisters flesh but attracted to the the same sight or flesh on nearly any girl other than their sisters. I have heard it from girls as well, "Eeewww! Gross, I don't want to see my brother/sister wearing that!" Why are some siblings like that? Gynophobic about their family only?
Next thing I know everyone is talking about nachos and I am left wandering, where was I when the topic switched to nachos and now did topless tanning become that? It is fun being off in your own world but rather confusing when you have to come back to reality.
Another interesting note is that out of the like 23 Sisters that went on the trip only two did not wear shorts. I am sorry to say I was one of the ones to wear shorts but that was because I was not wearing a bathing suit under my clothes. |

It's because they associate nudity with sex (and associate seeing nudity with leering at someone). Which many people are very happy to do in most cases, but don't want to think of their siblings in sexual terms. |

| I think it's all about the culture we've become accustomed to. I was hiking in Zion National Park recently, while we were waiting for a shuttle a family came walking by, with two kids, a son about 9 and a daughter about 11, both of the kids had their shirts off which had apparently been wet. The daughter was just twirling it around her hand and wrist without a care in the world. My wife and I laughed about it as we were recently at a local lake and watching a stressed out mom trying to keep the 2inch bikini top in the right place on her toddler. |

A big part is that kids are not kids anymore, moms put to much make up on them, and dress them provocatively. I'm sure this is not as big a deal in Utah but here in Southern California it is the norm.

Actually Utah is strewn with little sluts (and in training). If you go to a parade and watch the many dance groups going down the streets mimicking the dance moves seen by the latest and greatest MTV superstars, you'd see that they're not too far from pole dancing and dry humping the air. I've got quite a few in my ward, the moms think it's cute. |

Monty, I had forgot the pole dancers in training that most young girl dance troops have evolved into. It was very bad in Utah when we lived there, I can't imagine what gives a parent comfort that once a child is in a "dance" costume they can thrust and grind with the best of them.

This talk of pole dancing children at this time as got to me more than coincidental. Yesterday a friend of mine sent me some links and photos with stories under the subject of "I can't believe this happens in America". One was a link to a video of a group of seven year old girls "preforming" several *****catDolls songs, if any of you know who the *****catDolls are or were then you will know that NO SEVEN YEAR OLD GIRL SHOULD ACT OUT ANY OF THEIR SONGS. This was no home video either, they were in a dance competition and wearing "Less then modest clothing" a bit more then bikini's this a lot of make-up and sparkly things. So...yeah...seven year old's should not be doing that EVER, it was a pedophiles dream come true. I don't know where it took place but it should not have taken place anywhere. Dance competitions are good as they promote a healthy active life and dexterity but too many parents really are going to far with the barely there costumes.
Also there was a very interesting Documentary(?) on the Southern States group Prussian Blue. I question the documentary status as it is clearly one sided but I also have to admit it would be hard not to be so one sided considering the content. Prussian Blue, for those of you like me who did not know, is a two girl group or twins who sing about White Supremacy, and how all other races are bad and less worthy than the white nation. The documentarian does seen to try to be impartial while at the same time trying to get the whole story. It seems to me that the girls are less converted than they sound and it is their mother who is doing the pushing or using her beautiful daughters to spread the message around. They are Neo-Nazi and the family cattle brand is even a swastika. The grand father is totally into it and hates Mexicans and African-Americans who he calls mud people and he it seems to be always talking about how they are degenerate because the lie and steal and have sexual relations with animal.
I knew people like him existed but I was still shocked and stunned at what he said and apparently believes. He brags about shooting Mexicans and ....Ghaaa!! just evil things he said sent shivers through me, sooooo much hate. Prussian Blue is named after a dye that some people claim proves the Holocaust death camps never existed and where staged. The girls said "Sixthousand people is a lot of fuel to burn..." is it just me or did she just call the Holocaust victims fuel? I think, and hope she, meant it would take a lot of fuel to burn that many people but most were not cremated, just tossed in a mass grave. The mother requested and was trying to control what was documented and also has a third daughter who she named after a Holocaust camp. The mother specifically told the guy doing the documentary not to go near her mother, well that obviously will have the opposite effect, now they have to know why that were forbade to talk to her. The Grandmother hates all the Neo-Nazi junk and says it has ruined her life and the lives of her family and is totally against the girls sing.
Anyway I could not, but still had too, believe what is going on not so far away. There are a lot of racist people around and many do not think they are racist. Knew one guy that openly admitted that he was racist but only toward Native Americans. It is a scary world that is for sure. |

This is really scary!!! I know this is going way off topic, but RWB started it. I served a mission in Germany in the late 60's and heard a lot about the Nazi movement from people that experienced it. The one thing that came out "loud and clear" was that it only works if the group can blame all of society's problems (unemployment, crime, lax morals, etc) on well defined groups--Jews, gypies, gays, etc. The people were told that as long as these groups existed, and lived amongst us, things would never get better. So, the simple answer was "let's get rid of them by any means possible!" Does this sound similar to what is happening now? |

Raven and Usher, you're right on the mark! I think it's another sad day in American history when so many people are turning openly prejudice against immigrants, even to the point of hunting them down, labeling them and turning their whereabouts over to the "authorities" because they look like immigrants. I know of very few Americans that can look in the mirror and not see some immigrant blood.
I know there is a immigration "problem" in this country but racism is not the solution. I just think there are a lot of people frustrated with the current economic situation and now have somewhere to direct their energy.
Someone else can bring us back on topic. |

Here's something to think about. Twice as many Americans (all Republican and Conservative) think the Devil appeared to Joseph Smith as think that God did.
And they want to mobilize the government to do something about that. |
